The numbers are shy, but real love is made by two people, not a calculator.

📘 About the Love by Name

Remember writing names in the back of a notebook and counting letters? This is that test. Write both names together, count how many times each letter of the word LOVES appears, then add each pair of neighbouring numbers. Keep going until only two digits are left — that's your love percentage.

Every step is shown in the breakdown so you can check it on paper. Any number above 9 is reduced by adding its digits (12 → 1 + 2 = 3), the usual playground rule.

❓ Frequently asked questions

How do I calculate love by name on paper?

Write both names, count each letter of L-O-V-E-S in them, add neighbouring numbers in a row (5 numbers → 4 → 3 → 2) and read the last two digits as a percentage.

Why is my score low?

Names without many L, O, V, E or S letters score lower — that's just letters, not love!

Can I enter names in Hindi?

Enter them in English letters; the method counts the letters L, O, V, E and S.

Is this result real or scientific?

No — it's for fun and entertainment. Love is built by two people through kindness, trust and effort, not by names, numbers or stars. Enjoy it, share it, and don't make big decisions on it.
