📘 About the Revenue Forecaster
A revenue forecast helps you plan hiring, stock, cash flow and fundraising. This forecaster starts from your current monthly revenue and projects it forward, either growing by a percentage each month (typical for subscriptions and online businesses) or by a fixed amount each month (steady sales growth).
Churn reduces growth: if you grow new revenue by 8% a month but lose 3% to cancellations, net growth is 5%. Try a cautious, a likely and an optimistic growth rate to see the range.
🧮 Formula
Forecasts are estimates — compare them with actual results every month and adjust.

❓ Frequently asked questions
How do I forecast revenue?
Start from current revenue and apply an expected monthly growth rate based on your recent trend: next month = this month × (1 + growth).
What is annual run rate?
This month's revenue × 12 — what you would earn in a year if every month stayed at today's level.
What does 5% monthly growth mean per year?
About 79.6% a year, because growth compounds: 1.05¹² = 1.796.
