📘 About the Financial Report Templates

Prepare simple financial statements for a small business, a loan application or a partner meeting. Choose the report, rename or add lines as you need, enter the amounts, and the template calculates gross profit, operating profit, net profit and margins (P&L), totals and the assets = liabilities + equity check with key ratios (balance sheet), or net cash flow and closing cash (cash flow).

Pick the currency and whether figures are in units, thousands, lakhs or millions, then print or save as PDF.

💡 How to use the Financial Report Templates

  • Enter the company name and the period.
  • Choose Profit & Loss, Balance sheet or Cash flow statement.
  • Edit the line names and enter the amounts; add or remove lines.
  • Check the totals and print or save as PDF.

❓ Frequently asked questions

What are the three financial statements?

The profit and loss statement (income statement) shows profit over a period; the balance sheet shows assets, liabilities and equity at a date; the cash flow statement shows cash in and out.

Why doesn't my balance sheet balance?

Assets must equal liabilities plus equity. Usually the current year's profit has not been added to retained earnings, or a loan or asset is missing.

Can I use these for a bank loan?

They are fine for internal use and small applications; banks often require statements prepared or audited by a chartered accountant.
