📘 About the CBSE CGPA to %
Under the CCE grading system (Class 10 results from 2010 to 2017), CBSE gave a CGPA instead of marks. The CGPA is the average of the grade points of five main subjects, excluding the additional subject. CBSE's circular says an indicative percentage is CGPA × 9.5, and the same factor gives a subject's percentage from its grade point.
From 2018 CBSE went back to marks, so recent marksheets already show marks.
🧮 Formula
Always check the formula printed on the back of your own marksheet or transcript: if it differs, the marksheet wins.
