📘 About the GTU CPI to %

Gujarat Technological University (GTU) grades are reported as SPI (semester), CPI (cumulative) and CGPA. Its notification of 2012 fixed the conversion as percentage = (CPI − 0.5) × 10, for results from the winter 2011 examinations onwards.

Enter your CPI or CGPA for the overall percentage, or a semester's SPI for that semester.

🧮 Formula

From winter 2011 exams
Percentage = (CPI − 0.5) × 10

Where

  • CPI / CGPA / SPI = GTU grade point index (10-point)
Always check the formula printed on the back of your own marksheet or transcript: if it differs, the marksheet wins.

✏️ Worked example

You get
