📘 About the Marks Percentage
Add the marks of every subject, divide by the maximum total and multiply by 100 — that is your percentage. Enter the marks of each subject (blank rows are ignored) and the maximum marks per subject, usually 100.
For CBSE Class 10 and 12, most admissions use the best five subjects: enter only those five to get the "best of five" percentage.
🧮 Formula
A subject left blank or entered as 0 is not counted.
✏️ Worked example
Five subjects out of 100
You get| Percentage | 83% |
| Total marks obtained | 415 |
| Maximum total marks | 500 |
| Subjects counted | 5 |
| Equivalent CGPA (÷ 9.5) | 8.74 |
415 ÷ 500 × 100 = 83%.
