📘 About the vCard QR Code Generator

A vCard QR code carries your contact card. When someone scans it, their phone offers to save you as a new contact with your name, mobile number, email, company, job title, website and address already filled in.

Add it to your visiting card, email signature, ID badge or conference stand. The fewer fields you fill, the simpler and easier to scan the code will be.

💡 Tips for a QR code that always scans

  • Print it at least 2 × 2 cm (about 1 inch); bigger if people will scan from far away — roughly one tenth of the scanning distance.
  • Keep a light background and a dark code. Light codes on dark backgrounds fail on many phones.
  • Leave the white border (margin) around the code.
  • Test it with two or three phones before printing hundreds.
  • Choose High error correction if the code may get scratched or you place a small logo over it.
