โ“ Frequently asked questions

What inflation rate should I enter?

Enter the long term annual inflation rate you expect to experience before and during retirement. A higher inflation assumption increases the required retirement corpus.

What is an annual investment increase?

It is the percentage by which your monthly investment rises each year. For example, a 5% increase means 20000 becomes 21000 after one year.

Can I include pension or Social Security income?

Yes. Enter the expected monthly retirement income and an annual increase if you expect that income to rise over time.

What is the legacy corpus?

It is the amount you want to remain at the end of your retirement period for heirs, family or other goals.

Does this calculator guarantee my retirement amount?

No. The result is a projection based on the assumptions entered. Inflation, investment returns, taxes, fees and future income can differ from the assumptions.
